Colegio Mas Que Creyentes is a private, Christian non-profit school that accepts students in lower income neighborhoods with the need and desire to learn. Each student attends the Colegio for free with the help of our partners and sponsors. We provide education, food, nutrition, and resources for them to succeed. Our goal is to end generational poverty and provide the necessary education to continue on to the next level.
The Colegio opened in 2021 as a Pre K, and each year we been able add an additional grade level. For the 2026/2027 school year, we will have the first 5th grade class attending the Colegio! This class is the first group of students we hosted at the school as kindergarteners when we first opened.
As a private school, we do not receive the same level of funding as public schools in the Dominican Republic. As a result, our ability to keep the same teachers year after year has become one of our biggest obstacles. Children need consistency.
Through our Classroom Sponsorship Program, your donation will help provide the essentials these children need to thrive, including education, school supplies, and nutritional support, AND will also supplement the teacher's salaries, who they, themselves sacrifice to work with the most impoverished in their own communities.
We are so grateful for God and our partners helping us grow the school from the ground up. But in order to help more children, hire more staff, we need your help!
